Doctors Without Borders

Our work

What we do?

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF, Doctors Without Borders) is an international humanitarian medical organisation. We deliver medical care to victims of armed conflicts, epidemics, and natural disasters and to those who do not have access to healthcare.

We work in more than 70 countries

We work where we are needed the most. Often that means that we work in countries with armed conflicts or other crises. See where we worked in 2023.

Medical care where it is needed most

All of our aid work focuses on medical care. Learn more about some of the diseases we treat and the health crises where we support those affected.

When a disaster strikes we are there

All of our aid work is humanitarian. Our work starts when a war, an epidemic, or a natural disaster has made the healthcare system collapse.
